Saturday night Lights!

Today was a great day!!! We hung out in the morning and then we all met at Jen's and headed to the roadhouse. The roadhouse is a homeless shelter in Salt Lake. For Christmas we decided as siblings instead of exchanging gifts we would donate to the roadhouse. It was fun to go shopping with the kids and have them pick out clothes and necessities that we often take for granted everyday. It was a touching and a humbling experience to drop it off. I hope it meant something to my kids. We are all so blessed and I am grateful for all that I have in my life.
After the roadhouse we headed down town! We rode trax to down town, a must for the kiddos!!
Here they are all bundled anxiously awaiting the train!

Enjoying the ride!
Our first stop was the Grand America Hotel. They have a fun activity for the kids and when completed you get a free cookie! The hotel was decorated so beautiful, as you can see

Nanna and her Grandkids, minus Steven! What a good lookin bunch!
Then it was off to Temple square. So amazingly beautiful! Doesn't matter how many times you go and see the lights, it still gives you and awe inspiring feeling!

All the Ladies!
On the ride home- Dawson found a way to entertain himself! Too funny
This is one of my favorite pics! I love it. Holly looks like a real pro riding the trax!! Plus Addy is chowing her free cookie!
After the lights it was time for just us grown ups to go out! We dropped off the boys at Craig and Wendy's and the girls at Jen's house and off we went! It was great to be there all us siblings, minus Tisha, and our cousins. It has been sooooo long since we have all hung out! When we got to Craig's to pick up the boys this is what we found...........

The boys crashed!!!
Thanks guys for such a fun night! Love you all

Rays 18th

Tonight after Mason Baptism, we did a little black Friday shopping. Then we had a surprised birthday party for Ray! Happy 18th Ray Ray!

Mason's Baptism

Today Mason was baptized! It was great to all be together and even better to see Mason making this choice. He is such a sweet boy! It was humbling to me because Mason had asked me to give a talk about the holy ghost at it. I was honored to do so!!! Uncle Bubba talked as well about Baptism. I love Baptisms. Congrats Mason on your Baptism!

Turkey day in SLC

Wednesday we headed up to Salt Lake for Thanksgiving. We got to Tina's house and then decided to head to the movies. We saw Hugo. It was a good show. Then it was back to Tina's. Dinner, bedtime and prep for the big Turkey day!
Thanksgiving day-
Thanksgiving was wonderful! Lots of food. Family. games and of course some football!!!!
Jess said- this picture clearly shows who the football family is! So true Jess!
The weather was fantastic! It has been a long time since we all-minus Dad were together. It was so much fun and so little drama, which is always good to avoid but often hard when you have so many people together! I have so much to be thankful for and at the top of that list is my family! I love you all!!!
Since we were to busy having fun, aka-eating-this is the only picture I got on Turkey day! Me and Jaxon chilling out. He is so adorable!
Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Dawson loves to go get his hair cut! No joke! He loves the Holmes barber shop. It is old school and awesome! They do an amazing job, and he looks forward to it every time!

Getting ready for Thanksgiving!
This is his ultimate favorite part- the old school head massage! This is when living in a small town is super cool! Betcha can't find this in a big city( at least not easily)
Thanks Holmes boys for keeping my little guy handsome!

Taffetas

Tonight Addy and I went to go watch the Taffeta's. It was a cute little play put on by the Hurricane theater. Nanny was playing in it so we went to go watch. It was really fun!

We had front row seats! Cute stage.......Nanny lighting up those ivory keys!
