So awhile ago I heard that the TV show The View was going to be in Las Vegas. I thought that it would be fun to go to a taping. I got online requested tickets for me and my friend Natalie. 2 weeks ago I got the tickets in the mail. I was so excited and I emailed our confirmation. Me and Nat made all the arrangements for our little chitlins and off we went to Vegas on Monday night.

He was so nice and just down right real. It was so cool
. We also got pictures of the co-hosts as they walked out
. Seeing them just got us more excited. Every good thing has to come to an end right? Literally 7 people before us they cut off the line to get in! We were so shocked. We had tickets in hand and did not get in. They had over booked by 25%. CRAZY!
but nothing a little retail therapy, and a good In N out burger couldn't take care of. All in all I had a great time, I have a great friend, great food, and a real mall, who could really ask for anything more. With all that who needs the View!!Posted by Melissa at 12:58 PM 6 comments
I love my kids dearly, however sometimes I need to be reminded to focus on the positive. So tonight I am focusing on the funny things they have said and done today instead of the fact that my sons behavior was not funny but down right irritating and lets just say he found himself in bed very early tonight!
Dawson, who is 100% all boy, decided that his talent in the primary talent show (is not singing like I thought it would be because he is always singing ) is "boy ballet and NO GIRLS"! He even practiced a little routine for us until he got hurt doing some maneuver. While at church we got to primary early and he ran (of course he ran he does not know how to walk) up to the pulpit and was bearing his testimony. It was actually very cute. After church he and his dad were playing soccer. He went for the ball and missed and fell to the ground and when he got up he said "That is how I flop Dad." Bryan was so proud! I need to remember these things and not the temper tantrums and aggressive behavior our little sweet boy displays at times!

Addy and Belle

Addy and Dawson ready for some fun
Dawson, Kyler and Addy.
The true highlight of our Disneyland adventure was when Dawson got to meet Buzz Lightyear! He told him,"Buzz I have big news. I go poop in the potty!" Buzz was so excited and gave him multiple high fives. It was the best part of the day for him and for me! Although the funny thing is when we asked Dawson what his favorite part of Disneyland was his response was not typical of a three year old who just meet a character he adores. His response was "eating together all as a family." What a sweet boy!
We took the kids to see Playhouse Disney and they had a smile on their faces the whole time. They were up on their feet dancing and completely enjoying themselves. It is moments like that, that make everything worth it. It is all about making memories!
All of us waiting for the Pixar Parade to start. It was a great parade. We saw Lighting Mcqueen, Mater, the Incredibles, Buzz, Woody, Jess and many others. The best part was they had water guns and got the crowd wet-it felt good, just ask Bry.
