Clorox Clean!

Can I just say how much I love my boys! Truly I do, they make me laugh constantly. They are silly and crazy. I love it! But often times I wonder WHAT GOES THROUGH THEIR LITTLE MINDS! This mornings events totally explain this.  So before I left to take Addy to school I told the boys I wanted them dressed and their beds made by the time I get back. Both happily agreed! Upon my return I find Dawson dressed and Ky still in his PJ's. I asked why Ky was not dressed to which Dawson replied, "Oh he just got done going poop." To which I said, "OK, so why isn't he dressed?" "Well I had to wipe him but we were out of toilet paper and he was scared to go get more." As Dawson is talking I'm thinking to myself, if he was going to the bathroom how could he go get toilet paper. So I asked that very question. Dawson responded, "well I had to go too". So then I asked the dreaded question, "So what did you guys use?' Dawson calmly and almost proud of his quick decision said, "we had to use a clorox wipe."  UM WHAT?!?!  I was not sure how to respond! Was he really serious? You bet he was, 100% serious!!! As this is sinking in part of me wants to burst out laughing! The other part is so grossed out!!! So after I educated them on the fact that using Clorox wipes is not ok. I gave them a list of reasons why and Dawson chimes in saying, "Yeah it kinda made me itch!"  YA THINK!

SEOP'S

Today we had all 3 kids SEOP's, parent teacher conferences. I love going to them, they went great! I love to be able to talk with each teacher and hear them talk about my kiddos. More than any of their academic stuff, which they are all doing amazing at, I love to hear how their individual personalities come through at school. As a Mom nothing makes me more happy than to hear them tell me how kind, honest, nice, helpful and fun my kids are! I leave every time with my heart overwhelmed with gratitude for the amazing kids my Heavenly Father has sent to me! I am beyond blessed to be their Mom!
Here is some highlights from each SEOP-

Addy-
Mrs. Hulet her core teacher said Addy is a pleasure to have in class. Mrs. Winters her social studies teacher said how good Addy does in her class and knows how much Addy loved History. Mrs. Chrisiansen her Math Teacher talked about how well she does and how fun she is to have in her class.
I can't even begin to articulate how proud I am of the amazing young lady she is becoming! I love her zest for life! I love how she see's the good in others and is a great friend! She is smart and trustworthy and wants to do what is right. So incredibly proud!!

Dawson-
Mr. Perkins said Dawson is full of energy! No argument there!  He talked about how much he enjoys having him in his class. He said Dawson is a great student. His reading and comprehension has about doubled this year! So proud!! He talked about how honest he is and that he never worries about him cheating. He talked about kind and tender hearted he is. I couldn't agree more. Dawson is so sweet and tender. He said he is helpful in class yet talkative. Sounds like him!
I love talking about Dawson! His energy for life is contagious and I love that! It warms my heart to know that his teacher see's the great qualities he has! That energy can be hard for teachers at times, I'm sure. But Mr. Perkins embraces that and him and I couldn't be more happy about that! I love that they joke around together. Dawson is an amazing kid and boy am I  lucky to be his Mom and watch him grow. He has an amazing future ahead of him!

Kyler-
Mrs. Werber talked a lot about his academic improvement. It is so fun when they are in Kindergarten to see how much and how fast they learn and absorb everything around them. I love it!!  We read his February journal. I love the pictures and the phonetic words. Fun to see what they write about, which for Ky is about sports! She talked about how good and obedient he is at school!
Ky is such a fun kid to be around. I love that he is obedient, which is a relief! There is no question that he loves to tease but glad to know he behaves!! I love that he is nice at school. He has made some great friends and grown a lot! I love his infectious smile. I love that I get to watch this crazy kid grow up!

I am so grateful to be a Mom but even more grateful to be THEIR Mom!!!

Top O' the Morning to ya!

Happy St. Patrick's day!! This year was a little more low key, being on a Saturday and all. For Breakfast- Lucky Charms!
After doing our Saturday chores the kids got a St. Patty's day treat.......

Then we delivered treat to our neighbors.
No fun fancy dinner that night! Bryan and I were off for a much needed date night, little did I know what was in store fro me! But that is a different post!

Awesome except......

Dawson is a great kid and loves to play with everyone and everyone loves to play with him, including all the girls. Addy loves to tease him and of course Ky jumps on board with her. Well today Halle, one of his good friends, called and wanted to know if he could play. When I picked him up this was the following conversation with Daws and Ky.......

Ky- Halle loves you!
D- No she doesn't! Hey Ky I saw your picture in the preschool room(Halle's Mom is Ky's preschool teacher.Love her!)
Ky-does that mean Halle loves me??
D- No
Ky- But Halle loves you?
D- Yes, No. I mean, well not like the marriage kind, just like the Jesus kind!
Ky- Oh ya

I could not contain myself and laughed out loud!

So I told Rachelle, Halle's Mom, about the conversation to which she told me about this one......
They were all at the dinner table-yup they asked him to stay for dinner- and Dawson was just a talking away! She said no one else could get a word in. UM so unusual, wonder where he gets that from!! Any way after monopolizing the conversation, and spouting off articles of faith Halle turns to Dawson and said, "Dawson you are awesome at everything!" To which Dawson so humbly replied," Ya I know. Except one thing. Then he whispered to Halle, KISSING!"

Well as his Mom I'm glad to know that!!!

My Valentines Day

Valentines Day fell on a Tuesday this year and with Bryan at work of course, I had to celebrate the day my way! I asked the cutest guy in town to be my date..... and he said yes! Dawson and I went to dinner, not at Wingers where he really wanted to go because it was just to busy. Bummer! So we hit another favorite- Panda Then it was off to see the Harlem Globetrotters! It was seriously a great night!!! I love that little guy and loved spending time with just him!!! It was fun just to watch his face and hear him just chat the whole way home!

Becky's Wedding

This weekend I got to go solo to Logan! It was fantastic to have some alone time. It felt strange going back by myself. I was flooded with a lot of emotions! I have to be honest, I really think when I moved I left part of me in Logan! So many memories there!
I mean look at this, so beautiful!
I got there Friday and my first stop was Old Grist Mill! It had been so long I almost forgot what I normally got! So good! After checking in to the hotel, and chowing down my Old Grist Mill I was off shopping! I can't even tell you the last time I went shopping completely by myself, so nice! Then it was back to the hotel, our rendezvous spot, where I was able to sneak in a couple chapters of my book before the gals got there. Then it was a night full of food, friends, laughing and more laughing! After I crawled in bed at 3am, I realized even more just how lucky I am to have these ladies in my life and how much I have missed them! We love each other good, bad and everything in between!

Saturday I slept in, which is very rare and I relished every minute of it! Helped Bec with a few wedding things and then got ready for the day-totally uninterrupted! After checking out I headed to lunch with Amy and Becky, lucky me tha'ts twice in a month I have got to see these amazing ladies!! So great to catch up with them! Then I made it out to Mendon, it has been way to long since I have been. I really hate not being able to go as often as we used to when we lived there. And it was also really weird going by myself! Boy I miss her!

The drive home was long, snowy and just plain brutal! I was so excited to get home to my hubby and kiddos. But I was even more surprised by what I got when I home........
Not only did Bry get me beautiful roses, but the house was clean!!! I LOVE that MAN!!! So lucky to have been able to go and even more lucky for what I get to come home to!!!

Addy is now 10, double digits! Happy Birthday Addy, what would our family be with out ya! A lot less drama and definitely less fun!!!

Make a wish
Addy had her party on Saturday the 6th. Our house has never been so full of estrogen! It was crazy and fun! The girls made hair accessories and chatted away. It was informative and entertaining to listen to! Thanks to Miss Cassie for helping out, I SERIOUSLY could not have done it with out ya!!! The party was a success!

I didn't obviously take a lot of pictures, I guess I was fully enjoying the moments! So here is a run down/highlights-
Addy got her Kindle and beds for her American girl doll as well as some outfits for them.
Dawson got Madden 12 for the wii, Hogwarts lego train, and a Braves and Red Sox shirts!
Ky got his DS, some games,toy story legos and of course Beyblades!!!
The family got a air hockey table, which was a hit!
Bry got golf pass at Wolf Creek, a Braves shirt to go along with Braves tickets!!!
I got a fabulous new watch, jewlery box and some earrings to match the necklace I got last year!
It was a great day to spend with family and loved ones. I am so lucky and blessed to have the family I do in my life! It was even more special being on Sunday, we got to start out the day at church and reflecting on our Savior! I love Christmas on Sunday, it makes the day feel complete!
